It’s summer time and what’s better than getting outside with your family and cooking on the grill? My family loves the flavor a grill brings to our food. This was also the case for my Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Sandwiches. It is juicy and full of flavor!
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
4 pineapple rings
2 oz sliced Swiss cheese
4 hamburger buns
4 TBSP teriyaki sauce
Marinate chicken in 2 TBSP of teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Grill chicken until no longer pink inside.
When chicken is near done, place pineapple rings on the grill until grill marks appear (around 2 minutes) and flip.
Brush chicken and pineapple with remainder teriyaki sauce.
Assemble sandwiches by placing chicken, pineapple and Swiss cheese on to bun.
Makes 4 servings.
